Our first recipient in the Youth Leadership category is a youth mental health advocate and president of Jack.org Concordia, which is a student branch of the non-profit youth mental health advocacy organization. This year, alongside 11 other student network representatives, she planned and executed the Jack Summit, which united 200 student leaders from across Canada. The goal of the summit was to learn from one another’s advocacy work and to inspire one another to promote social change. Ladies and gentlemen, please join me in honouring Alexis Lahorra. Accepting the award on behalf of Alexis is her mother Lydia Lahorra
